Azurea
Azurea was conceived as a streamlined alternative to traditional travel booking sites, focusing on curated destinations and storytelling to deliver a more personalized boutique travel experience.
As a designer and travel professional, I wanted to convey as sense of “small luxury” that was still accessible to travelers while retaining elegance and simplicity.
Branding and User Research
I conducted branding and UX research for a boutique travel site, focusing on improving the overall experience. Through user interviews and usability testing, I identified pain points in trip discovery and checkout. These insights led to a more seamless, personalized, and visually immersive experience that aligned with the brand’s target market.
Flows and Wireframes
I created wireframes for the site, structuring the booking flow to reduce friction and improve usability. I prioritized clear navigation, streamlined trip customization, and a layout that supports high-end visuals without compromising functionality.
Visual Design
To finalize existing design we used the color palette finalized in our branding research. We wanted to convey a sense of calm as well as a personal touch unlike the overly commercialized information overload on most mass market travel sites.
